1. Overview of Services
HIMALYAN Tour & Travels ("we", "us", "our") provides travel booking assistance, information, and reservation coordination services for the Vaishno Devi Helicopter Yatra. We coordinate bookings with certified third-party aviation operators who run the flights. By using our website or submitting an enquiry, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
2. Nature of Flights
Helicopter flights are highly dependent on atmospheric conditions, safety controls, and clearance from aviation regulators. We do not own or operate the physical helicopters ourselves. Flight scheduling, baggage policies, weights, and operations are managed by the respective licensed aviation operators.
3. Pricing & Booking Enquiries
- Submitting an enquiry via our forms, WhatsApp, or email does not constitute a confirmed flight ticket.
- Final confirmations and fares are subject to operator availability and guidelines. Fares may vary depending on seasons, regulations, or adjustments by the Shrine Board or operators.
- All passengers are requested to review and verify booking quotes and flight slot details before completing payments.
4. Passenger Responsibility
- Original ID Verification: All passengers must carry the same original government photo identity card submitted during booking. Check-in terminals will reject passengers without proper original documentation.
- Reporting Times: Passengers must arrive at the Katra Helipad at least 1 hour prior to their scheduled flight slot. Late reporting is treated as a no-show.
- Weight Limitations: Helicopters have strict weight thresholds. Passengers must declare accurate body weights. If a passenger exceeds the limits, the operator reserves the right to deny boarding or demand additional charges.
5. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any direct or indirect loss, injuries, delays, accidents, or inconvenience resulting from:
- Flight cancellations, delays, or rescheduled timings due to weather, visibility, technical faults, or government mandates.
- Denial of boarding by the operators due to mismatching documents, weight disputes, or security failures.
- Stoppage of Yatra routes by Shrine Board authorities.
6. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Jammu & Kashmir and India. Any disputes arising in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Jammu / Katra.
